The Westinghouse WHC742BE is a 70cm ceramic cooktop with four cooking zones on black ceramic glass. At 700mm wide it gives a wider cooking surface than a 60cm model, yet it fits the same 560 x 490mm benchtop cut-out, which makes it a practical upgrade when replacing a 60cm electric cooktop.
There is a 200mm 2300W zone for larger pots, a 180mm 1800W zone and two 140mm 1200W zones for smaller pans. Knob controls on the right-hand side offer nine power levels, and residual heat indicators show when a zone is still hot after cooking.
The smooth ceramic glass is easy to wipe clean. The cooktop measures 700 x 520 x 51mm, is hardwired, and comes with a 2 year Westinghouse domestic warranty.
