Choosing a dual fuel cooker
Dual fuel cookers combine a gas cooktop with an electric oven, in 60cm and 90cm widths. Brands include Fisher & Paykel, Smeg, Westinghouse, Artusi and Beko.
You get responsive gas burners on top and the even heat and extra functions of an electric oven below. 90cm models often add a wok burner and a larger oven. You'll need both a gas connection and a suitable electrical supply, installed by licensed tradespeople.
