The Smeg KBTAU900NE is a 90cm T-shape wall canopy rangehood from Smeg's Universale range, finished in black. Its flat T-shape canopy gives a clean, contemporary look that suits modern kitchens with a 90cm cooktop.
A 230W motor drives three fan speeds plus an intensive setting, reaching up to 713m³/h (IEC 61591) with noise levels from 47 to 72dBA. Electronic push buttons control an automatic switch-off timer and a 24-hour air exchange function that runs the fan at low speed for 10 minutes every hour. Two 1.3W LED lights illuminate the cooktop.
Three aluminium grease filters trap grease, with an indicator to remind you when they need cleaning. The hood takes 150mm ducting, plugs into a standard power point, is 450mm deep and needs at least 650mm above a gas cooktop or 500mm above an electric one.
