The Rinnai Hotflo EHFA315T36 is a 315L mains pressure electric storage water heater, hardwired, with twin 3.6kW elements: a bottom element for off-peak supply and a top element on the continuous tariff for boosting. It stores 334 litres in a vitreous enamel lined steel tank and delivers 315 litres of hot water. The tank stands 1770mm high, is 605mm in diameter and is finished in Rinnai's Dune colour.

Rinnai's sizing guide puts the 315L size at up to 9 people in a warm climate or 7 in a cool climate on a continuous (peak) tariff, and up to 7 (warm) or 6 (cool) on off-peak. The tank is thermostatically controlled with a safety temperature shut-off, and an inbuilt anode helps protect the cylinder against corrosion.

With an IPX4 rating it can be installed indoors or outdoors, and its dual handed connections and standard sizing make it suitable for replacing an existing tank. A pressure temperature relief valve is included and the tank is lead free. Rinnai's domestic warranty covers the cylinder for 10 years (parts) and 3 years (labour), and other components for 1 year.
