The Rheem 876T16PF is a 16L continuous flow gas water heater for homes running on LPG (propane). It heats water only when a hot tap is turned on, delivering 16 litres per minute at a 25°C temperature rise, which Rheem rates as suitable for about 1.5 bathrooms in a moderate climate, or one bathroom in cooler areas.
This is a 50°C model, factory preset to supply hot water at a maximum of 50°C to all outlets in line with AS 3498. It has a 6 star energy rating, a nominal gas consumption of 126 MJ/h and starts from a minimum flow of 2 litres per minute. Flamesafe overheat protection, a frost protection system and Rheem Q Factor for steady temperatures when several taps are running are built in, and Rheem remote temperature controllers are available as an option.
The compact unit measures 520mm high, 355mm wide and 187mm deep, weighs about 16kg and is designed for outdoor installation only, plugging into a weatherproof power outlet. It must be installed by a qualified person.
